Indonesian screen legend Christine Hakim is heading to Busan as her new emotional drama Ibuku secures global sales representation with Asian Shadows.

Eddie Cahyono is an Indonesian filmmaker and screenwriter who emerged from the vibrant independent film movement in Yogyakarta. After studying and working in regional independent cinema, he co-founded the film collective Fourcolours Films alongside producer Ifa Isfansyah and fellow creators. His early career consisted of directing numerous acclaimed short films that explored social realities in rural and working-class Java.
Cahyono gained widespread international and domestic critical acclaim for his 2014 black-and-white feature film 'Siti.' The low-budget drama achieved major success on the international festival circuit and swept top categories at the Indonesian Film Festival. He continues to develop film and cultural projects rooted in regional Indonesian storytelling.
