Frank Iero is an American musician and songwriter best known as the rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist for the alternative rock band My Chemical Romance. Raised in Belleville, New Jersey, Iero performed in several local punk bands, including Pencey Prep, before joining My Chemical Romance shortly before the release of their 2002 debut album. He played an integral role in shaping the band's energetic guitar style across multi-platinum albums like Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge and The Black Parade.

Following the band's initial hiatus in 2013, Iero launched a prolific solo career, leading projects under various monikers including frnkiero andthe cellabration, Frank Iero and the Patience, and the Future Violents. He also co-founded the post-hardcore supergroup L.S. Dunes in 2022 and resumed touring worldwide with My Chemical Romance following their reunion.
