Best known for Professional dancer on Strictly Come Dancing and co-host of Strictly: It Takes Two

Born
1983
From
American
Working since
2009
Also known as
Pocket Rocket

She is the pint-sized powerhouse who danced straight from Miami salsa clubs into the beating heart of British primetime TV. Janette first turned heads on American screens before packing her bags for London and taking the ballroom by storm. For eight years, she whipped celebrity partners into shape on Saturday night telly with boundless energy and a huge smile.

Then she pulled off the ultimate pivot. In 2021, she hung up her dancing shoes to grab the mic on spin-off show Strictly: It Takes Two, proving she can talk the talk just as well as she cha-chas. Together with dancer husband Aljaž Škorjanec, she has become pure ballroom royalty.
