Jennie Bond is an English journalist and television presenter who is best known for her fourteen years serving as the BBC's royal correspondent. Born in Hertfordshire and educated at the University of Warwick, she began her media career working in local journalism before joining BBC Radio News in 1977. She moved into television news in the late 1980s, becoming the primary broadcast voice for the British royal family's most turbulent public moments throughout the 1990s.
After leaving the BBC in 2003, Bond expanded into reality television and presenting, famously finishing as runner-up on 'I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!' in 2004. She has since hosted various lifestyle and daytime television programs and continues to serve as an authoritative royal commentator.
