You know that opening piano riff from "Don't Stop Believin'"? That came straight from Jonathan Cain. He joined Journey in 1980, just as the band stood on the edge of superstardom, and immediately started handing them monster arena anthems. Between "Faithfully", "Open Arms", and that relentless karaoke staple, he cemented his spot in classic rock history before the decade was even half done.

These days, though, the drama backstage burns a lot hotter than the stadium lights. His ongoing public feud with guitarist Neal Schon keeps courtroom clerks working overtime, trading lawsuits over credit cards, politics, and tour money. Throw in his marriage to televangelist Paula White, and Jonathan's life off stage stays just as loud as any stadium encore.
