Mark Wright rose to prominence in 2010 as one of the original cast members of the British reality television series The Only Way Is Essex. Before entering television, he played semi-professional football for clubs including Southend United and Grays Athletic. Following his breakout reality TV run, he established a career as an entertainment presenter and broadcaster.

Wright transitioned to mainstream presenting with roles on series such as Take Me Out: The Gossip and joined the UK radio network Heart as a regular host. He later expanded his career to the United States as a correspondent and host on the syndicated entertainment news show Extra, before returning to the UK to continue television presenting, radio hosting, and fitness-related business ventures.
