Nick Rhodes

Nick Rhodes was born in Birmingham, England, and co-founded the synth-pop and new wave band Duran Duran in 1978 alongside bassist John Taylor. Serving as the band's primary keyboardist and synthesizer programmer, Rhodes played a key role in defining the group's signature sound and stylish visual aesthetic, contributing to major international hit singles such as "Hungry Like the Wolf," "Rio," and "Ordinary World."

Alongside his continuous work with Duran Duran, Rhodes formed the 1980s side project Arcadia, produced music for other artists including Kajagoogoo, and published fine art photography. Duran Duran was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2022, with Rhodes remaining a constant recording and touring member throughout the band's catalog.
