Raymond Toro is an American musician and songwriter best known as the lead guitarist and backing vocalist of the rock band My Chemical Romance. Born and raised in Kearny, New Jersey, Toro developed an early interest in music and film, eventually studying film editing at William Paterson University. In 2001, he joined frontman Gerard Way and drummer Matt Pelissier to help form My Chemical Romance, serving as the group's lead guitarist and a core musical architect.

Toro played an integral role in shaping the band's signature multi-layered guitar sound on multi-platinum albums such as Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge and The Black Parade. Following the group's temporary disbandment in 2013, he pursued solo work and released his debut concept album, Remember the Laughter, in 2016. He returned to My Chemical Romance when the band officially reunited in 2019.
