He started out grinding behind the scenes as an assistant director, but Vishnu Edavan quickly turned into one of Kollywood's hottest lyricists. When massive crowds in cinemas lose their minds singing along to tracks in Master, Vikram, or Leo, you can thank him for the words. Working alongside composer Anirudh Ravichander, he delivered hook after hook that took over radios and playlists across south India.
Writing chartbusters wasn't the end game, though. He jumped straight into the director's chair himself, teaming up with filmmaker Nelson Dilipkumar's production banner for the 2024 dark comedy Bloody Beggar. He's part of the fresh crew reshaping mainstream Tamil cinema, and he's not slowing down.
