Zach Cregger

Zach Cregger was born and raised in Arlington County, Virginia, before moving to New York City to attend the School of Visual Arts. While in college, he co-founded the sketch comedy troupe The Whitest Kids U' Know alongside Trevor Moore, Sam Brown, Timmy Wood, and Darren Trumeter. The group achieved mainstream recognition when their eponymous sketch show ran on Fuse and IFC between 2007 and 2011, establishing Cregger as a prominent voice in independent sketch comedy.

Following regular acting roles on television comedies such as NBC's Guys with Kids and TBS's Wrecked, Cregger made a major creative shift into feature filmmaking. In 2022, he wrote and directed the sleeper hit horror film Barbarian, which received widespread critical acclaim and commercial success. The breakthrough led to high-profile directing and producing projects across Hollywood.
